I have recently fitted a Magnex cat back exhaust with oval tailpiece to my UK MY98.

I am considering continuing the system from the turbo back with more magnex pieces but I dont want it to get too loud. Would this make it considerably louder?

Go for it

Put a Magnex Centre (with resonator) and a Magnex backbox on my MY00 and it sounded good and felt like it went better.....

Then added a SS DP and wow.... A slighty louder but deeper noise from the rear and more torque making driving better fun. Largest increase in noise comes inside the cabin from the Turbo. Its sounds like one of those mice from the Aero advert blowing a loud whistle..

All bubble, no squeek. I love those adverts. Probably something to do with the fact we have a pet Rat.

Question

ScoobySnack

Am I right in saying that Magnex do two different cat replacement parts, one like a straight pipe and the other like a box?

Is the resonator the one with the box?

Cheers
