Default Has anyone used a universal 4 wire O2 sensor

2001 Jdm STi 7 requires a Lambda Denso type.
Has anyone used one of these ??
http://www.gendandirect.co.uk/product_O24WIRE.html
And if so which wires on the original Subaru unit correspond to the Universal ??

Thanks V Much

I think you may find the info you need by doing a search, there is also this sensor

http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.p...e2bd658e1a0604

don't know if it will work for bugeye, may be worth trying to find out if the sensors are the same as the classic and if the plug is the same.

I read another thread last week where someone mentioned that some of the generic sensors don't cover the exact same voltage range as the oem one so that also may be worth checking.

I have the same car as you so would also be interested to know if either will work. I don't need a sensor right now but I'm sure it won't be long.

I have Emailed these http://www.gendandirect.co.uk/product_O24WIRE.html
With the Denso Part numbers off the sensor & the Wire colours, they said they would confirm if suitable.
