Tyre black, which one ??
Hi all,
I've done a search for "tyre black" exact phrase and it turned up nothing. Now we got a couple of dry days I wanna tart the car up and clean it up a bit. I normally use Amorall Tyre Foam, but this time of year that works out expensive.
I was wondering what anyone else uses, cheaper but just as effective ???
Thanks,
Steve

Auto glym tyre dressing and a small sponge.
Apply the dressing to the sponge first. Lasts for ages that way and doesn't end up on wheels/brakes and (important for those with nice driveways) doesn't stain.

a friend of mine who is mad about his 911 swears by son of a gun. not sure whether or not you should use it on tyres - i only use it on the dash and the internal plastic. i don't dress my tyres
Used engine oil.......well thats what the Honda garage I bought the wifes CRV used, that was until I returned the car the following day and had them clean and wax the whole car due to the oil leaving the tyes and spraying down both sides of the motor.
Did my nut! And the manager was not too pleased with his cleaners either.
