Default what gearbox oil?

sorry folks, this has been asked loads of time I'd say..search option down.

I'm replacing the gearbox oil in my '96 STi3, what grade should I use. ( a brand that's easy to get in most autofactors)

You need a 75w-90 transmission oil. Castrol syntec (driveline) is a good choice, I use it after alot of recomendations on here.

From peoples experiences, it seems better to use a semi-synthetic oil (rather than a fully-synthetic) as the gear syncros opperate better with this type.
