Would version 8 sti engine and all wiring and dash fit in classic
does any body have any info on this kind of thing and what changes i would have to make to fit the engine loom and dash into my 99 classic turbo???

Try the project threads, a guy called Simon Lines I think did a conversion with a later/newage sti engine/dash etc into a classic.
A few over in the states have also carried out the same conversion.
Nasioc- subaru conversion.
Physically the engine will fit, its just all the splicing of the wiring loom & re-wiring thats the tricky bit, not a problem for a good auto electrician.
