Hello there all you Scoobynet revelers - the only ray of light in this kingdom of darknessl!!! Have a funny question please . . .Quite recently bought my first ever Subaru - a WRX 300 . .In love with it ever since!

However . .Was looking not so long ago at the WRX brochure that I got from inside my car when I was buying it, and in the specifications bit it said that side air bags were included . . Lookied inside my car . .No markings SRS on the door/seat or roll bar pillar . .Checked online at www.subaru.co.uk
and it had no mention of side airbags in the WRX 300 specs!!!

Hmmmmmm . .I I love my car (as it is the best in the world), but is it possible that the dealer misdescribed my Scoob unintentionally, and what can I do about it???

True to form, a Subaru is not about Side airbags, but its still a point that needs to be raised . .I don't want to end my life with white van man going in to the side of me!!! . .Please help!

 

IIRC the seats in the WRX300 are the same or similar to the Sti which does not have bags. I suspect the brochure was for the standard WRX which does have them.

The labels on my WRX seats are on the back.

Hi again guys . .I hear what yr saying . . . . The seats are more similar to the STI . . .Meaning they are blue and have SUBARU WR Team embroided on the back . . .

However . . .The Brochure was unique and specific to the WRX 300, and still I can't see the SRS sigh anywhere . . . .

Am I making a big deal out of nothing??? . . . . .

 

just pop in your dealer clear up any questions you have. best way.
