NEW PC DEAL AT ALDI
£800 with no monitor for a 3ghz dual core with only 1gb of ram and a £70 HDD
I would be expecting so much more for my cash.
I mean its only £220 for an athlon 64 4000+ with the san diego core and 1mb cache.
£70 for a good asus pci-e overclocking board 939
£200 for an Ati radeon X850 or a 6800GT for graphics
2gb of ram for £120 and a nice thermaltake soprano case for £41 with a £50 turbine modular power supply
£70 for 250gb hard drive SATA
£29 for a pioneer 110D
= £800 on the nose

Doesn't seem an unreasonable price especially if you need Sat TV, Digital Terrestrial and Analogue TV / Radio reception. Comes with a bundle of software which would add significantly to a home build, but only if you need the software. We all need XP so that's 60 quid no one counts when building their own.

Aye they have. I've always thought the PCs they sell are very good value, especially if you aren't confident enought to build your own.
I bet you couldn't buy anything like that spec from PC World for that price for instance. They prolly know more at Aldi if you need any techinical help as well
