Ben seems to have little concept of the meaning of unsolicited mail. I got two copies of a spam message from him touting for a job, with detailed employment history and his mobile number in case I was interested. The funny thing is, I don't employ anyone, never have, nor have I ever worked anywhere in a role where I was involved in employing people; I'm not even working myself at the moment due to illness! I mailed him back to tell him I'm a private citizen and not an employer, that I couldn't assist in his job hunt and to ask him to remove me from his spam list. He replied back to me that I needed to "chill out". Any decent person would have apologised for the mistake, but Ben's way too important (self important?) for that, apparently.

He obviously knew that he'd targeted his mail badly, and that there was a risk he'd annoy people with it because he added some PSs to the bottom, (very professional on an e-mail sent to ask for a job paying £550/day). The first read:

"p.s. Apologies if you have already received this, received too many copies, it's completely not your field or I have just plain annoyed you with it.....!"

What a shame he didn't actually mean it

I think he's a rude, jumped up little moron who needs to learn about boundaries and acceptable behaviour. I complained about the spam to various parties on the Internet and would be happy to pass the details of how to do so to anyone else the arrogant fool has inflicted himself on, unasked. Until sufficient weight of complaints is amassed there's usually nothing that, say, an ISP can do, but all complaints count for something. I also have his home address and mobile number in case you'd like to talk to him about it yourself
