Question New age saloon wings on a wagon.

Would the front wings of a new age saloon (flared) look good on a new age wagon? Considering the rear arches of the wagon are not flared. It seems to work for the E46 3 Series BMW, with the M3 front flared wings.

It'd look rubbish. The track is narrower, and the flared arches will stick out a lot further than the wheels.

A mate and I were just talking about this, and he thinks his saloon looks puny because the wheels sit inside the arches (when viewed from front of car) whereas my wagon with it's "old men's" wings looks more flush. (both are blobeye cars)

the wheels would look too deep in the front arches, if you got over that somehow, in my opinion you would deffo need to flare the rears too somehow to match.

Could look good though if done right,

Check out the Newage Wagon in issue 6 of Scooby magazine
page 47, in the top right hand corner.

You want to see a newage with arches, check that baby out !!

As for people saying it would look rubbish, i think not.
