Picked up my first subaru yesturday from hull new MY05 SWRT and iv never smiled so much also had a 330 mile drive home to falkirk, that was fun to say the least even with keepin the revs under the 3.5K i think im going to enjoy the scoob rather more than my corsa lol. btw filled her up wi optimax 41 litres and got the 330 miles on the 41 litres is this pretty good? i was suprised and chuffed.

Most likely due to you keeping your revs under 3.5, spool that turbo up and your sweating litres like a fat bloke in a sauna wearing a bin bag!!
glad you like it. you must have filled it up with 41 litres, but used som of the spare fuel which was in the tank (they hold 60 total), cos that sounds very decent fuel consumption.
the only fool proof way is to fill it up full, reset odometer, drive till the tank is emptyish, fill up to full & note down miles driven, then reset odo again.
number of miles / litres put in * 4.55 = mpg
i get 25-28mpg drivning 80% on motorways
