Well... had to buy a run around, as Scooby engines ain't cheap to repair...
Anyway, been saving, and getting bits and bobs together...
So far, my insurance is due in a couple of weeks, so a quick phone call to Gary Moulson and Keith Michaels PLC and all is sorted( damm better quote than I got off tescos ) Cheers again Gary( Moley WRX )... Bought some new wheels (oops, they were a bargain though), FMIC, HKS headers and down pipe...
Still to purchase off my list is:- Bigger turbo(£1200), WRC cams(teg sports copy)(£600), Bigger injectors(recommended 620's)(£400), and the 2.5block with uprated rods/ pistons/ and oil pump...????
I know it don't seem like I'm getting anywhere at the moment, but been buying cheap run arounds and making money on them... so hoping fingers crossed, should be taking the engine out early Jan and taking it up to Teg Sport for the work to start... So there you go...
Also, while I was down at Teg Sport on Monday chatting to Stuart... He mentioned that he's getting 6 brand new imported Impreza Spec 'C's in very soon... Obviously these are gonna be used for rallying only!!! So anyone wanting any bits off them, I recommend give him a ring and have a chat with him... anyone wanting a full spec C interior(thats everything!)... he said he'd let go for £500 quid...
But he's gotta strip all of them, so theres gonna be alot of spares he wants to shift quick to make room... so phone him and get yourself a bargain...
