A good exhaust with full decat will release a LOT more power, IF you can get away with it in whichever country you're running it in. MoT's are going to be a nuisance now, so keep the old cats!

I'd look at Scoobysport, and TSL group "N" among others.

I'd also look at the brakes too, if you're upgrading power..........

New intake kits CAN cause MAF damage, so beware. Mine has one, but that's only because it doen't use the MAF any more, being fitted and remapped with a LINK ecu.

LINK ecu, as sold and mapped here in the UK by BR Developments, who have a banner ad on here somewhere. It's a stand-alone ecu replacement for the OE Scoob unit, highly mappable, and when done by Bob or Branko, gives fantastic results.

http://www.brdevelopments.com/

With a decent intake, and 'zorst, you could see 300bhp. ALWAYS mapped to be safe for your car too...............they haven't lost one yet.

Can't say on price, check their ads, or give them a ring.

sani,

Leave the standard dump valve on as it is. Its perfect for the job.

I have an MY98 WRX JDM (jap import 280ps) with the following:

Apexi Power FC (mapped by AndyF)
Megan headers wrapped
STI8 IC
Samco boost hoses
Modified IHI Turbo (similar to TD05 spec)
NGK 7's
Modified IC air intake
APS CAK
3" open neck Downpipe to 2.5" magnex straight through system
440cc Inj
Walbro fuel pump 255lt

This spec gives somewhere in the region of 330-350hp.

AndyF mapped it for reliability rather than on the limit performance.

Wayne.
