Hi all,

Got my S reg, MY98 Turbo 2000 just over a week ago, been driving fine with no problems at all!

Today whilst driving slowing down for speed bump I changed down to second come off the cluth and heared a bang that I aint had before. Now whilst driving 2nd gear makes a terrible loud click/banging noise and i mean it's shocking how lound it is but it's only in 2nd gear all other gear's are ok ?

Is this a fault any one has had before or am i just down on my luck ?

The noise is only there in 2nd gear if it was the diff it would be there constantly, and be undrivable it drives fine just not in 2nd

 

best advice is to have the gear checked out asap.
