Default Dealer selling STI import.

Hi all,your thoughts please,myself and a friend went down to a local mitsubishi dealership this morning and this is what we found;
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y17...s/100_0184.jpg
the car looks very nice and we had a thourgh inspection everything seemed to be ok ,then when asked if the car was an import he said yes and its had a brand new engine,this then started to ask questions of how and why,apparently the last owner from hull ran it dry of engine oil of which obviously seized the motor.
Then the salesman went on to explain that a new uk engine had been fitted by themselves,now correct me if i'm wrong but were do you stand with warrenty's as the car is a definate import with a uk engine very confused please help.
the car is up for £14665 with 24000m

cheers lee
