Default removing the 99 cubby?

Hows the best way to remove the cubby on top of a 99uk dashboard please?
in order to fit a triple gauge pod...

2 covers over the screws/2 screws and pull towards you its tight as it clips into the dash and locates in the fresh air vents

so no need to have the whole dash out then, from your details I can just undo the two screws and give it a tug?

Just undo the screws on the hinges as Morpheuos said, you may need a dumpy due to lack of clearence and then it just lifts off !

tis done, cheers

theres a couple of small clips, 1 on each side that I levered with a flat headed screwy and it popped right out, no bother
