hi just wondering if any subaru fanatic could help me with a problem??
ive just had my engine rebuilt. when i started the car i noticed a tapping noise coming from the engine left it for the oil to run through and still no change the noise is there when i rev it up. so i took the engine back out an checked the followers but the top row on the left head were dry no oil inside them but the bottom 4 were fine wat could be the problem????

You did prime them before fitting them, didn't you?

 

yes mate i did

 

forgot to mention when i rev the life out of it the noise will go for about a minute then it will come back

 

Ask David at API he'll know what's up
