Default Quickshift Fitting

Has anyone bought a quickshift like the one below? If so, how easy is it to fit?

Thanks in advance

Paul

yep, dead easy. undo the connection to the old gear linkange, and pull the stick over to an angle until it pops out of the socket.

put the new one in, and using a block of wood and a mallet 'encourage' the new balljoint in to its socket, then bolt it all together again.

whilst you may worry about causing any damage it is very unlikely, and you do need to use a fair bit of force, but you should have the job complete in less than about 10 minutes.
