Default Centre Diff Replaced Price Query

The centre dif on my MY99 classic had fallen apart and had to be replaced along with a number of bearings, gears and some other bits, oil and a clutch.
All of the parts came from the local Subaru dealer.

The whole job was £1800 including vat. The dif alone is over £400 and the clutch was something like that too.

Was that an OK price to pay in a garage (not subaru) ?

Thanks.
