Last night some mindless tw@t made the concious effort of leaving the pavement coming onto my drive and dragging a key all over my bonnet! . I've cut it back and it has toned the scratch down, but its still visible!!

A couple of years ago my mrs car was done on every panel on one side and my cars front wing, the cars were parked on side of the road then, so although i was very pi$$ed off at the time, this time its seems even worse as it wasn't as if they were walking down the street and just though they would have a bit of "fun" and hold out there soverign ring as they walk past, thie time they stopped saw the car purposely went out of there way to do it!!

I hate the *******!! Its going to cost me a few hundred quid now to have the bonnet resprayed!! I suppose i may as well get a full front end respray and an STI scoop put on at the same time though

Except that the person who did all the cars around where we lived was an old codger. He did well over 50 cars, police could not touch him cos he was old, infirm, and on benefit.

At least the coffin dodger does not have long to go......

 

Sorry to hear that your car has been damaged. The Scooby does seem to attract more than it's fair share of attention from the vandals. These people are absolute scum.

You could try installing a cheap CCTV camera to put them off doing it again.

Or buy a fu*k off big dog and let it roam the front garden at night in case they return.

Two options, one of which may even rip off their bollox and bring them to you with your slippers one night

 

Very sorry to hear that mate! Hope the bastads burn for it!Touch wood, my car has never been vandalised . .Perhaps that because i've had it only three months . . .Or perhaps because in some circles the car is popularly stereotyped as a " drug dealers car"

Saying that though, if it makes you feel any better, this my first scoob, taken fresh delivery, and as not used to the chunky blind spot, managed to gently reverse it in to a lamp post . . . That's about 900 gbp worth of damage . . And yes . .I am a complete t*at! Thank god got a mate who owns a good body shop!

 

....and I thought my wiper blade episode was bad!

 

sorry to hear that m8 had the same done to me a few months ago, mine off the road and up a drive but they done the same and went out their way to key all down the side of my car (wrx). cost me 200 quid if i caught em guess i would not be here at the mo but doing some time for gbh!! thats the way it works is`nt it?

The bumper has loads of stone chips so asked for a price for a full front end respary at Scooby clinic - £400-500 Think i may just get the bonnet done!

 

Austen, sorry o hear that mate. I know how you feel.
My car sticks out just a couple of inches of the drive and some d*ck thought it would be a good Idea to key to left side rear. Unlike yourself mine wasn't too bad and it doesn't really show now.

I have had four cars in total keyed outside my house and the worsted one was my R5 GTT that had to have a complete respray.

You can put CCTV up, but we were made to take ours down by the constabulary as this was deemed to invade people’s privacy. This was done to save an augment but my sister’s car two weeks later was trashed by the useless little tw@ts that hung out over the park after another fuelled night on snakebite.

Sadly this is just the way things are going these days and I am only 24.
