Default Removing bug-eye standard headunit

Hi,

As above i'm looking for some advice... do i need special pins??

Also, when fitting a new unit is there a casing behind the face the standard size to take a single DIN unit??

Any hints / tips appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris.

Hello Mate,

It's really quite easy, and I'm sure someone will come up with the link to the "how to" diagrams. Is is a Bugeye, with the cup holder above the stereo or Blobeye without the pop out cup holder ? that makes a different how the facia pops off.

Once you have the facia off, it's 6 screws and the head unit pops out with a cage either side. These will screw straight onto your single din unit, so you can put it at the top or bottom of the space. I've got a SECS monitor in the other DIN space.

Cheers
Darren

Edited.. Sorry, you did Say Bug eye.... so you have the pop out Cup holder ?
