Default Fitted new front speakers tonight

With a little lelp from chiarks site I managed to install some six and half inch infinity's tonight in the front of my classic. Only surprise was that if the bottom section of the spacer is too wide then the door panel wont go back on. Speakers have loads more oomph now shame the rest of the car rattles now.

I looked all over and tried numerous spacers/pods etc and found that nothing fitted. Ended up making my own out of facia board plastic covered with dynomat and these were excellent. Only took me 30 mins to make.

When I did mine on a classic, I made my own from 12mm MDF. I used the template that came with the speakers, the original speaker mounting, and a jigsaw, plus two coats of paint to seal it all.
