Question DVD Head unit?

I am after a head unit that will play dvd-/+r's.

I had a JVC KD-AVX1 unit supposedly coming from E-Bay but seller let me down.

Just wondering if there is anything else about, I am not that bothered if it plays dvd movies or not.

Or, should i just stick with a unit that will play mp3 on a cdr and have done?

Thanks

I've got the JVC KD-DV6101 on its way from Pixmania (yes, DHL have got it, which must have increased my chances of getting the thing enormously !)

This is more or less a screenless version of the AVX1, with the same Giga MP3 capabilities. There is also the DV5101, which is the same again but without the option of an external changer, and without dual-zone capability (currently 177 quid)

I got it for the 100 hours of MP3's on each disk, not for the movies...

It says it plays dvd-r's, but I've seen confirmation that it handles +r's too.

JVC KD-DV6101 fitted in mine and it uses dvd-r's no problem.Haven't tried it with +r's as I don't use them(-r's cheaper).
