Default MY03 STi - Noise

My new (to me) STi8 has a noise coming from the rear when driving. Sounds similar to a wheel bearing noise - sort of a rumble. The noise grows with road speed (not engine speed).

Dealer just replaced a rear shock under warranty which made no difference. Before I take it back to the dealer anyone know of anything I should get them to check?

Thanks

M.

Do a search on here mate as I'm sure I've read before people saying they've had the same sort of problems....

Mine is starting to do this. I recon that it could be the bearing / hub. I am going to call the dealer on Mon to get it booked in for a look/see.

Guys this is the rear shocks making a clunking noise

Mine does it, my MY04 sti was in for 20k service last week and they are fitting new rear shocks under warranty.

It's a common problem and one which any dealer will resolve under warranty
