was confused how??
checked performance figures for cupra and then realised the sti was obviously not fully involved with the little run.
your STI has got to have some awsome potential if the seat slightly pulled away, and your turbo was not piped up..

Based on the standard power figures for the seat cupra, it would have to be a pretty good remap,
Am not slating seat cupra off far from it
but 'bhp is bhp' and '0-60' and top end speeds of the said car are what they are, and the seat "cupra" does not compare to a STI. 'What car' do a read up on the seat cupra and it is as they say a very capable car however the figures are there to read.
A remap from team seat would not give it the power to pull away from jukebox's 450bhp STi me thinks, that is unless of course the sti was in the process of being run in or indeed have the turbo unpiped so it was not creating any usable boost.
I do like the Seat ibiza cupra (in yellow) and the deisel version is only 0.1 second slower than its petrol powered sister to 60. thought i would end on high point.......

yeah definitely. you can have them mapped to around 230 on standard exhaust however. they can run 20psi without problem. But i agree a 450bhp STI when run in would blow it away
I do like the 1.8T engine though.....and i saw one do 4.41 0-60 at trax on sunday. He had had a lot of work done mind....
but to be honest.....so had a 450bhp STI!
