Default MY03 Standard ICE - Is there a CD Changer Input?

I have one of these...
http://www.connec2.co.uk/images/kenwood-car.jpg

And also this from my last Kenwood head unit...

Anyone know if there's a CD Changer input on this unit to use that lead with?

Thanks

M.

There is a CD changer input, however I'm not sure the lead works with it.

For reference, the HU is a GX-401EF2 - it would be worth asking kenwood tech support if the lead is compatible.

Either that, or try it and see!

As you have the lead already, it would be good to hear if it does actually work.

I tried to build one myself:

Which ended in a waste of time, however I didn't damage my HU at all.

Info on removing the HU is in the FAQ, it doesn't take long (but beware scratching the trim, be best to cover it in masking tape - I wish I had!)
