Default CYLINDER HEAD ID HELP

Hi,
Can anyone tell me the visual differance between and standard head and one off of an STI.

the shims.. if the shims are about the size of a 10p and you can see them under the cam lobes on top of the buckets then they are NOT STI.

STI shims are under the buckets and cannot be seen when assembled.

This is correct for STi3 and 4 anyway.

Thats correct, GC8 Sti engines where shims are used [ Vers 2 up to Vers 6 ] have shims inside the buckets. Vers 7 & 8 have shim selective sized buckets.

Anything with an outside bucket is unlikely to be STi spec.
