Just fitted my new Alpine Headunit and now I am getting no radio reception with the ign on.I can pick it up if I just turn the key to the first click but as soon as it goes to the second click it goes all fuzzy and I cannot hear anything other than white noise.
The weird thing is I took out an Alpine headunit that used the same plug so it is not wired up wrong as it worked fine on the old unit.The aerial plug is different but I have 2 connectors connected to the cars aerial lead so used the smaller one.
Any ideas what could be causing it????

Are you sure both Alpine's use the same lead? MY03-MY05 Scoobs have aerial in back window which has an aerial amp that needs 12 volt power to receive anything.

Check wiring on Alpine leads, although they may have similar plug not all pins are always wired.
