Default calliper seal kit?

took my my99 uk turbo into dealers to look at rear passenger brakes getting red hot for no reason. apparantly i need a caliper seal kit which works out at around £90 fitted. just wondered if i could buy the kit cheaper anywhere else and maybe fit myself if not too difficult. im no mechanic but i change all my own disks and pads with relative ease and the rear callipers especially only look like a simple thing to work on. any help apreciated cheers. leon

Did mine last year, got the kit from Graham Goode racing. Fitting was fairly easy, spring clips that hold the rubber cover between the caliper and piston were a bit fiddly. My pistons were sticking so took some effort to extract them - also needed 4 6" G clamps to free them off enough for them to pop out easily. Sure the cost was about £20 for each side.

p.s. use plenty brake grease on the piston above the seal in case any water gets past the rubber boots.
