Hi,

trying to find somebody who can replace a turbo unit on a MY01 Bug-eye UK WRX. The car is currently off-road due to the fan in the turbo making a noise when accelerator is pressed/on idle.

I've sourced a replacement unit (thanks ScoobyDoo2 ) and ideally want somebody who can come to Wednesbury (J9 of M6 round the corner from Ikea) and do the job as I need to get the car on the road asap. Using a friends at the moment and it's causing me serious grief!

If anybody can do the job can you please drop me a reply or PM along with price etc. If it means taking it to a garage then can anybody recommend a local one?

Unfortunately the 2nd replacement unit is also sh*gged! Check out all the other options and looks like yet another turbo

Finding a local Scooby specialist is a bad thing on my pocket - now it means I've no excuse to get anything done whereas before I couldn't be bothered travelling anywhere more than 20 mins away !!

I'd be wary of the place in Willenhall. no doubts quite a few guys on here also would say the same, especially when it involves engine work. they have caused more problems than they have solved, plus charged for it too!
