Default Will a classic back box fit on a newage?

I've been looking at ads for used back boxes and a few have said that they fit both classic and newage , I had it in the back of my head somewhere that they were different though , can anyone shed a little light on it for me ?

many thanks

Dave

AFAIK, the hangers are different. From what I've heard the are the same layout, but would need the hangers modified to provide a good fit.

Ian @ Hayward & Scott would give you exact details of the differences/similarities.

The centre hangers face in opposite directions so you could either cut it off turn through 180 degrees and weld it back on or perhaps by using a different rubber on the centre hanger you might get it to fit.
