Just been on the phone to Privelege insurance and declared my after market exhaust. Now they wont quote me until i give them an exact bhp increase.
Who could be arsed in finding that out ?
I'm guessing at 10% increase max.
Anybody come across this before.
My current insurers Admiral didn't want to know about a power increase.
Can't think why people dont declare mods

 

If it's just a backbox probably no more than 1-2 bhp (if any at all). 10% increase will more than cover it.

 

Im no expert and the exhaust was on the car when i bought it.
Jetex Stainless steel jobby with cats still in place.....i think
