I’m considering some significant performance upgrades (Engine work) on my 2005 STi, the number of possible companies is confusing. I have studied the forum carefully and come up with two possible people to approach, but I’d like some help.
Question is who would you use and why? Reports of past experiences, good or not so good, would be much appreciated.

tsl-expensive but very good ian at stan palmers seemed to like it!
roger clark motorsport seem to be doing a lot of very high power scoobies-a wr1 is producing nearly 500bhp
andy forrest is producing near enough 400bhp
it just depends on how far you want to go

Thanks Martin, I appreciate your input. About 400bhp is where I'd like to be, guessing that this is possible while still maintaining decent drivability.

Have heard alot of good response on RCM
Also Scoobyclinic could be a choice, recently had some work done their

Another shout here for RCM if you are thinking of having internal engine work done rather than bolt on ancilliaries. Matt Clark is a good bloke and a knowledgeable engine builder. During the past year I've had a fair bit of work done on a 2.5 at RCM and the workmanship / attention to detail have been exemplary

That's what I want to hear about more than anything, thank you!

TSL for me, their after sales service and advice is superb. You can ring any time and someone is there to help out. Also the standard of workmanship is outstanding..as they say you get what you pay for and you don't get anything you don't need.

You will not go wrong with RCMS. They have a LOT of experience building engines that hold together at big power and have been at the forefront of Scooby development over the last three years. I have never seen them on the net and they quietly go about their own business.
