i have a P1 which has done about 60k ( engine rebuilt under wararnty ay 30k), which is suffering from a severe judder under hard acceration ( foot flat to floor ) in 4th and 5th gear from about 3500 rpm. I have tried in plugs and leads anybody any ideas?

Have you got a way of monitoring your boost?
Sounds like you could have an overboost situation leading to fuel cut.

no. engine remapped by TSL though. I'm waiting for a new air flow sensor coming on friday to see whether that cures the problem

How is the car idling mate?

If you do suspect the MAF, drive the car off boost till it's sorted as a precaution!
