Cam you run the scoob without a dump valve to get the chattering fluttering sound as the air is forced back?

i have had a "stiff" recirc valve for a while which has the vf23 chattering at low revs, this has been like this for over a year, and it has not broken

to be honest i have fully expected it to
broke a few vf turbos in my time

this one was rebuilt by myself from second hand parts and was never balanced either

i figured i had randomly managed to balance it myself by accident
