I picked up my 99MY (UK) year today.

Very very impressed, only ever driven scoobys that belonged to others before, so couldnt really see what they are like.

Anyway, after the first 250miles Im very impressed.

One thing that I may think is on its last legs is the standard fit dump valve

I have tried to find where the thing lives and I cant find it!

Any suggestions as to exactly where it is would be appreciated !

It's bolted to the front of the intercooler.. if standard!

 

front right hand side of the intercooler man, should be a lil black plastic job with 2 pipes in it

 

I assume its not a bosch jobbie, like those fitted to cossies, Saabs etc etc ?


As I didnt see anything that remotely resembled what I believed to be a dumpvalve when I had a brief look earlier

 

mine is metal bolted to intercooler with two bolts. has a black hose coming from it about 40 mm diameter and a small 12 mm pipe for vacuum
