How do you find out when the car was made ?

I was ringing around for a clutch today for my 96 Sti, however as the car is a 96 they said there is a cross over in Aug 96 and thus need to know if it pre aug or Post Aug manufacture date.

Anyone know how I can findout as it's an Import.

Look at the label on the base of the seat belt; thatll show you the build month.
