Default Amazing - Oil Use/Tyre Pressures

Wow - just checked my oil and pressures, and in 7,000 miles my WRX hasn't used any oil and the tyres are still at the correct pressure.

Okay, it is warmer now so maybe I've lost a PSI and not noticed due to the hotter weather. But, am I wrong to be suprised (especially given my 'special' running in procedure...)?

Am I also a bit sad to feel a little disappointed that I don't have to top it up?

I think all the cars I've had have used some oil, and had tyres which needed the odd top up now and again.

I had a boxster for one weekend, and got more than a through a litre of oil in that time!

I've had my MY00 Turbo for 4 years now, never had to top the oil up. Mind you, its serviced every 6 months & I only do 6,000 miles a year! As for tyre pressures, I check them once a month & they only fluctuate when the ambient temperature changes.
