Default FITTING A BUGEYED INTERCOOLER

CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW HARD IT IS TO FIT A BUGEYED INTERCOOLER IN A MY00 UK TURBO CLASSIC ??? AND ANY INFO ON HOW TO DO THIS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED THANKS

if you look in pojects and look for 911, he fitted an sti 8 intercooler to a classic sti that will guide you through how to to do it.

In case you don't want to go to the extremes of fitting an STI one, the Standard WRX will fit with little or no fuss at-all, remove the old intercooler, use the 'y' piece off the original intercooler on the wrx one, and then it will slot into place, the brackets will need modifying, as will the dump valve pipes, but there's not bashing of the engine tie bar brackets or anything needed.....
I'm gonna do this on my my00 with the 2.5.... i'm not aiming too high, so i figure this will suffice for me....

I didn't bash any tie bar brackets or cut any bits up to fit the STI TMIC. Brackets still need modifying and the same for the DV. There seems to be similar effort involved with both.
