Went on my twice yearly mission to the pod this weekend, the car park was as usual packed with beutiful scoobs (including my 90 hour old new black wagon with PPP mmmm..), fantastic evos, skylines, THE LOT!!, every second car was a performance car...

Anyway, did anyone else think the racing was complete bab!, hardly no big name TF cars, 6! Pro stockers 1!!!! TF funny car, and only 2 decent runs out of the lot of them!, the atmosphere also seemed a little damp...not the same santa pod I am used to?...This aside the fly past from the lancaster bomber and 2 spitfires made it well worthwhile!

..........................or was it just me?

 

I went down for the weekend and must also say the car's weren't performing very well, i.e blown engines and half runs from the Top Fuelersand far too windy and cold on saturday for May!! The final was good tho with the car on TF on full throttle and on fire from 1/8th of a mile to the end!! good weekend tho
