Think my Lambda sensor has gone too.

One problem sorted and another arises straight away. Have sorted out the problems I had with not getting the right boost and a diving revs (replaced MAF and secured boost pipes).
Now my Lambdalink is all quite on idle. Nothing at all hot or cold. Still does the right things on boost (open loop) and part throttle.
Idle is lumpy although revs dont really fluctuate (although the vacum, on the boost gauge does v slightly). Just doesnt sound right. Also when driving on closed loop its lumpy.
Seems to me like its the Lambda sensor. Do Halfords sell them and are the a universal fit?
Would it be a problem to run without one on the drag strip (as its all open loop driving anyway)?
Hoping to resolve asap.
Thanks in advance
Bob

No problem when on power so drag strip will be fine. The sensor probably got carbon'd up when it was running too rich. A good thrash may recover it
If not then the Halfords one will do fine once you change the plug over.
Dodgy lambda sensor will cause your uneven idle and cruise.
