If its a Classic then its 6 Months and/or 7,500miles

If you do it any more often you will be awarded the ScoobyNet **** Badge of honour!!

But, its up to you!!

The car uses oil? Oh yeah - think I saw a light come on once

Being serious - I'm a bit lazy and don't do that "checking the engine stuff out" - that's what services are for! I don't tend to keep my cars long enough to worry about what they'll be like in 5 years time...

Depends on useage, conditions, driver and mods.

The harder, faster, colder, hotter, shorter and more BHP - the more often it needs changing

Always change my oil every six months or 6000 miles, no matter what car I've got. If you look after your car, it looks after you. That's my therory anyway

My My99 gets its oil changed every 6 months with only finest fully synth . For me that equates to only about 3k miles max. Doesn't seem to use a drop of oil in between either. For the sake of £40 it aint worth the risking scrimping.
