If you have had e-mail for longer than 10 nano seconds, you have probably already had somebody try to sell you them.

You are probably better off seeing "Dodgy Dave" down the pub and buying a real one... same penalty but more fun.... and everyone knows that real criminals get favourable treatment too!

I've found them to be very helpful in the past. Their showroom is about 10 minutes away from me.

Have you ever held a desert eagle..?

They are fooking massive and extremly heavy..!

I had a .357 version in the good old days but sold it as it was just too big. Bought a H&K USP .40S&W, now that was nice..... hmmmm the good old days...!

I think most retailers are waiting for new legislation before stocking these again; the government reckons there's a problem with people converting them to fire real amunition.

I'm sure that stopping cheaply made blank firers is going to stop the influx of weapons from eastern europe...

firearms are a tool and should only be used by those for whom they are tools of the trade...and im not talking about armed blaggers and 'gangsta' wannabes...i work with firearms and they are an embuggerance, although a necessary one...i cant understand the fascination that mature, responsible adults have with them...?!

This what is wrong with Scoobynet now

I ask a simply question and I get a useful reply from AJM, Paul-S, **************, jasonius and Ru' but the rest of the replys was a waste of my time, your time and webspace.

With old Imprezas so cheap we are getting all sorts of scum signing on to SN now replying with stupid comments.

What I want a gun for is my own business. i dont give a **** what you get up to in your own time and I am not interested.

what kinds of responses did you expect to receive, coming onto a motoring forum talking about 'desert eagles' , especially in a world where its quite rightly very questionable to want to own a replica pistol...?!

i know i mightve requested advice that i couldve looked up myself online, and have probably even requested advice not directly related to motoring and the ownership of a subaru, but to discuss the ownership and availability of replica weapons...? im sure there are more appropriate and helpful sites...

i have made no personal attack on you and would appreciate you extend me the same courtesy...

if thats an apology then i accept...however i would just say that i would never judge somebody purely for owning a replica pistol...i personally felt that law abiding pistol owners were persecuted for the actions of a very few individuals when they were banned under public pressure...i would of course judge a person on what they did with a replica, as in my job i really dont need people waving them around as a status symbol which ive come across before...

i, in turn, apologise if i did appear to judge you undeservedly...

Im not gonna kiss and huge you now

My friends and I was arrested at college (7 years ago) for having an airgun in public whist filming a short movie funny now looking back.

I looked into pistol shooting a few years back and it turns out its a no no her and I'll have to go to france if I wanted to take it up as a sport
