sti 8 vs 7 gearbox
First off id like to send a big shout out to all the current members!!
Does anybody know if there are any differences between the 2002 sti7 6 speed box and the 2004 sti 8 6 speed box or are they exactly the same?, cant remeber if i read somewhere that the 8 box is stronger or is that complete rubbish, also can anybody recomend a decent clutch that is capable of handling 450 ft pounds of torque
Thanks
Andy

I know that the part numbers are different on the MY01/02 sti gearboxes to that of the MY03>, also the standard STi clutch will be able to handle 450lbs of torque, though your going to need some other uprated parts if your not using an MY02> STi as a base (brakes spring to mind straight away!)
