Time to consulte the SN database again. . . . .

Yesterday at 2PM on the M23 just by Gatwick Mum & Dad were going on their merry way to Gatwick Airport to go on their annual Hols.

They were doing about 70 in the middle lane and the car in front's (Lilac Merc convertable C Class?) driver side window shatters.

Bits of glass dent & scratch every panle and front & rear windows on my Dad's car - It'll require a complete respray and some dents removed

Can anyone think of a way to track down the owner of the merc? They obviously want to claim on his insurance.. . .

I take it they got the Merc's registration??

In that case, your dads insurance company should be able to trace the car through their own database. That is, if the Merc is insured.

Contact insurance and police with reg number. If you don't have reg number then there's not really anything you can do apart from open your wallet

 

Isnt the whole country covered with cameras? Can they be used for ther benefit of victims now and again??? All they need is the time and location of incident and a VHS player...
