What beginners acoustic guitar?
I used to have a Japanese Fender Strat that I never really learnt to play properly because I couldn't play it loud where I live and wasn't sure who could teach me the style I wanted to play (Blues). So I ended up giving it to a music charity several years ago.
Anyway, I've recently been inspired to try again. So I was wondering what would be a good, reasonably cheap, acoustic guitar for playing blues music on? Also, I'm left handed, does this make a difference to which guitar I buy or can you just re-string them the other way round?

It will make a difference if you want a cutaway guitar 
No you really do need a lefty
Try Soundslive They have really good prices. I would suggest that you go and try as many as you can before you decide. Then make the decision whether you are prepared to buy one over the net ???????????
The key is to stick to a price you are prepared to pay and go for the one that "feels" right
If you aren't confident enough to pick one up in the middle of the shop then take someone with you or ask the shop assistant to exploit its potential

Btw i opted for a Washburn D43SCE Electro acoustic. Every Washburn and Tanglewood i picked up sounded excellent for the price

Check out the Regents Guitar website. I got a superb deal on a Tanglewood and heartily recommend them. They price match as well. The TW15ns is very highly regarded.
Spending a little bit more on a guitar makes all the difference. They sound better and are easier to play.
I'm not connected to Regents just a very satisfied customer, there is loads of advice on the site and a guitar forum as well.

Thanks for all the tips. 
I think I'll have to get the assistant to demostrate the guitars because I'm too rusty and wasn't that good in the first place. I just hope I don't get some show off who insists on doing a 10 minute guitar solo!
