Default MY98 Rocker Cover Gasket?

I seem to have an oil leak on my nearside rocker cover. Do I need to replace the gasket or should I first re-torque the bolts or look at resealing with instant gasket type stuff?

If I need a new gasket, are there any tips / peculiararities in replacing them?

Mine was resealed yesterday at Jap Innovations. Appears to be a common problem. Didn't fancy trying it myself but seal was £18.00 and one hours labour to get sorted. Everything appears to be ok now.

It's a very common problem - the heat from the turbo eventually gets to the gasket.

When I had mine replaced, I also had a new set of bolt seals as well as the main gasket.

I don't think there's anything particularly odd about repairing them, if you're handy with the spanners I dont think it'd be that hard to do.
