My gearbox makes a growling noise... assuming this means rebuild (93 wrx) what price am i looking at inc labour roughly?
Also I'd like to fit a new uprated clutch, what would you estimate pricewise for this? im running around 310bhp...

 

clutch i would say around £300-350 mark, labour to fit it would be normally around £150, but obviously it will be cheaper as you are removing the box to have it reconditioned so I would guess at around £15 to fit the clutch.

You could always give David a ring at API. His banners are all over the place on here. Good prices and workmanship IMHO Located near M40, J12 iirc.

 

Powerstation do a Helix clutch for £370 a Fidnanza lightened flywheel for £299 and fitting for £160 as a standalone job.

Gearbox wise, it would depend what's wrong and as said, the clutch could be put in cheaply if the box is off for reconning anyway.
