Did anyone else spot the interview in yesterdays NOTW ??
How we won the cup on Booze in 1979
Telling stories of how the Gooners could drink anyone under the table, drank heavily the Thursday before the cup final blah blah blah, but Alan you failed to mention one very important part of the drinking culture and one night in particular, need reminding??
The night you were so pissed you killed a mother and a daughter on a zebra crossing and then drove off, reportedly to the then Arsenal chairmans house who contacted the police and cleaned the whole thing up for you.
This is up there with Souness' piece in the Sun all those years ago.
