Default ABS Warning light?

Morning all,

On driving to work this morning the AntiLock Brakes warning light illuminated on the dash. I have a 96WRX. Should i be worried or is it likely to be a faulty sensor or something?

Usually its a corroded connector to the wheel speed sensors, duff wheel speed sensor, or the wiring to the front wheel sensors has frayed and become open circuit. Also check the two fuses by the drivers side kick panel.

The only thing to worry about is that when the light is on...you don't have ABS. So bear that in mind next time you have to do an emergency stop It will also fail the MOT.
