the three sides of the ground were rammed to near capacity,and by my reckoning's hillsboro holds somewhere in the region of 48.000 when full,

dont forget though,people were allowed to pay on the gate,so 30 odd thousand ticket sales and how many on the gate/given to schools/charity's etc

the fella's on sky sport's were on about the fan base,they simply couldn't believe how many supporter's we were getting week in,week out, in league one,something about wednesday's average gate at home game's was only beaten by a handfull of premier league side's

1 in every 12 people from Sheffield in Cardiff on sunday! I Spent 12 hours on a coach and 3 hours in Cardiff - fooking briilliant!

Even met, danced and sang with the players in a service station on the way back

Think you could be just passing through League 1...and straight into league 2 mate. I reckon you could struggle

I'd be happy with staying in the Championship next season (and 12 easy points of L**ds and the piggies!!)

 

very good to see the boys back to good form,its about time we had something to shout about,the only ever better felling ive had was beeting man utd in the rumbalows cup final at wembely all those years ago.nice to see other members of the barmy army on here.role on next season i cant wait

 

Decade of upset really

 

Well we over achieved for a good few years in the championship (especially a couple of last minute winners in S6 ), basically a second div side punching well above their weight.
Not enough investment by good old Mr Booth, run like a 1950’s club. Bit like Dracula running a blood bank !
But you never know we may be back, need to find another manager like Ronnie (mr motivator) not sure how Mick Hartford is going to pan out, we will see !!!
